A new rooftop patio has hit Toronto this summer and is making quite the name for itself! Mascot Brewery and Mascot Beer Garden has opened on the rooftop above Old Thomas on Mercer St. Among the chic neighbourhood, Mascot Beer Garden offers a laid back vibe on a stunning rooftop oasis decorated with yellow umbrellas, picnic tables, astroturf and white fences. This patio replicates a backyard BBQ to the tee! Grab a bite to eat from the outdoor grilling kitchen equipped with a smoker and food truck, cooking up Bavarian style cuisine.
Not only is the location perfect for condo dwellers and Jays fans, the atmosphere transitions perfectly from day to night, making it the perfect patio for any occasion. They also offer large parties the option to tap a 5-litre keg ($130) right at your table, a fun twist on bottle service and the first of its kind in Toronto!
Now, lets talk about the beer. Mascot Brewery obviously brews their very own craft beer right in house. You can stop by to try some of Mascot’s traditionally hoppy German Pilsner and the Hefeweizen, a German wheat beer with a hint of banana and clove. If beer isn’t your beverage of choice don’t worry, they craft their very own cocktails handmade and tailored specifically to the drink and even make their own syrups. Yum!
